Coronation Street troublemaker David Platt may have met his match in bad boy Callum Logan, Jack P Shepherd who plays him has said.
David has been known in the past for terrorising the other residents of the cobbles, particularly his own family, but a new storyline sees him turn victim when estranged wife Kylie’s ex Callum (Sean Ward) starts trying to worm his way into son Max’s life.
Jack told Inside Soap: “It’s interesting to have the sympathy going in David’s favour this time. Callum is a good baddie and for once David might have people rooting for him.
“Previously David’s fights and scheming have mostly involved his family, so it’s brilliant for him to have a male adversary like Callum.
“It’s great to play – I think David might have met his match this time.”
