THE Saturdays star Frankie Bridge, the wife of former Saints star Wayne, has become the first celebrities to sign up for the next Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.

Singer Bridge tops the Strictly leader board, while Evans got the boot in week five.

Bridge said: ''My Strictly journey has only just begun and I'm loving every moment. I'm really excited to be a part of the 2015 tour. It will be a bit strange performing in arenas without my band mates, but I can't wait to see all the Strictly fans who have supported me throughout the TV series and get my dancing shoes on again.''

Her husband Wayne, from Winchester, made more than 150 appearances for the Saints between 1998 and 2003.

Frankie will be joined by rugby hunk Thom Evans.

Evans said: ''It's sad to be out of the TV show as I don't think I got the chance to show my full potential, but I'm really excited to be invited to perform on the Strictly tour and can't wait to get back on the dance floor.''

Ball, who also came third in the 2005 series, said: ''This year's TV series has been thrilling to watch so far... I'm really looking forward to seeing who else will be joining me on tour, as we visit arenas across the country.''

More celebrities will be announced for the tour, directed by TV judge Craig Revel Horwood, which opens in Birmingham in January next year.
