Pixie Lott is the early favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing as the BBC unveiled the full cast of celebrity dancers who will battle it out in the new series.

The final three famous faces - Masterchef's Gregg Wallace, Bargain Hunt's Tim Wonnacott and Mrs Brown's Boys star Jennifer Gibney - were officially announced on The One Show.

They join 12 other dancers including Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack, singer Frankie Bridge, Judy Murray, Mark Wright and EastEnder Jake Wood.

Jennifer, who is married to the show's creator Brendan O'Carroll, said: " As a child I wrote to Blue Peter asking could I dance with Pan's People. Now at last I get a chance to earn my badge - excited doesn't cover it."

Bookmaker William Hill has Lott at 5-1 to win, closely followed by Bridge and former Blue singer Simon Webbe, who are both 6-1. Wonnacott is the 33-1 outsider.

The firm's spokesman Rupert Adams said: " We cannot see Tim Wonnacott making it through the first week unless he gets a cult following like John Sergeant."

The new series will be the first without veteran host Sir Bruce Forsyth, with Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman sharing the presenting job.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC1 for its 12th series on Sunday September 7 at 8pm.

Tess has co-hosted the show with Sir Bruce, 86, since it began in 2004 and was joined by Winkleman in 2011 to present the Sunday night results shows.
