Christina Aguilera has given birth to her second child, daughter Summer Rain.
The 33-year-old singer and fiance Matt Rutler shared the news about their new addition on Twitter.
"So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world," she wrote, which her fiance retweeted.
Summer Rain, who was born on August 16 in Los Angeles, joins big brother Max Liron, six, from Christina's previous marriage to Jordan Bratman.
The Beautiful songstress revealed her pregnancy in February, a week after she announced her engagement to film producer Matt, whom she had met on the set of Burlesque in 2010.
She announced in March that she was expecting a daughter, and told People: "I'm really excited to meet our baby girl. This has been a very easy and enjoyable pregnancy."
Christina, who celebrated her baby shower in early July, also posed nude for V magazine.
"As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store," she said.
She later thanked the V team on Instagram, writing: "(Thank you for) giving me the freedom to bare my soul & body at this incredible, magical, transition time in my life."
